This website contains a simulation game. The students are to use their business and accounting skills to help a struggling music label they will come up with a business plan to help save the music label from closing. The website requires that users have a membership in order tho play. The membership is free so i would create anonymous members or students to use in order to sign in. I would use this simulation game at the end of the unit so students would possess the pre-requisite skills to complete the duties requested of them.
Another possibilty would be partnering the Accounting 30 students up with the Entrepreneurship 30 students to work together to complete the simulation game. Working together combing their skills they have gained from a business and financial perspective.
Explain how this website would enhance student learning:
I believe a simulation game like "The turn around game" can create a collaborative project for students work in small groups. It creates a direct application of accounting 30 and entrepreneureship 30 objectives. Music is a among pop culture that is an popular interest among teenagers.
